a social enterprise ‘experimenting forward’
This post is to celebrate the amazing work of HILS (The Hertfordshire Independent Living Service.)
As a social enterprise HILS provides a wide spectrum of services from Advocacy, to Home Food Packages, to Community Alarm to keep people independent.
In November 2016 they won a Real Innovation award from the London Business School and Management Today (Photo of Sarah Wren MBE, Chief Executive and John Turk, Board Chair).
In January 2017, HILS won a Social Business award for resilience from the NatWest SE100 Index.
This is a social enterprise that has adopted Adhocracy (‘Of Purpose’), as a management model in which a clear purpose is the root from which it can ‘experiment forward’.
It is looking to innovate from Governance through to Services all in the service of helping people to stay independent in the community.
Congratulations and we look forward to hearing more great news!
